Pierremont Hall
All Case StudiesProject Goals
Following the acquisition of Pierremont Hall, a Grade II listed Georgian building, Broadstairs and St Peter’s Town Council announced its plans for a phased programme of refurbishment works. The building had been left vacant for over 5 years and years of neglect and lack of investment meant that it was in a very poor state. The refurbishment was essential to bring this beautiful building back to life and to provide much needed office space and function rooms. After securing the works through selective tendering, we worked with Rubicon Building Consultancy to gain an understanding of the Client’s expectations for the project and to ensure it was delivered safely, on time and to an agreed budget.
The project was completed in a timely manner and to a standard that fits the important civic hub that the building has become. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Form for their hard work and efforts in bringing this beautiful old building back to life.

Added Value
The works comprised of a strip out of redundant M&E services followed by the installation of new upgraded systems, including a full re-wire of the building. The walls and ceilings had to be altered and the space decorated to a higher specification with heritage colours. Our team fitted new kitchens and provided modern sanitary accommodation on all floors. Externally, we carried out brick, stone and render repairs.
Following a successful delivery, we have been awarded contract for the second phase of refurbishment that included a single storey side extension, a new disabled ramp for better community access and a light touch refurbishment of an office suite.
