Form was appointed by Desso, a worldwide leader of innovative flooring solutions, to deliver a design and build fit out of their Clerkenwell showroom and office.
Clerkenwell is home to many of the world’s leading design companies, and Desso wanted a showroom that would reflect their status in the industry. They needed a space that would display the high quality of their products, ready for the Clerkenwell Design Week, where it was showcased to over 1000 visitors during the week.
Over a six-week programme, we transformed the dated interior into a bright contemporary showroom and workspace that prioritises connectivity and collaboration.
The work was completed within the demanding timescales, to an exceptional standard. The team was approachable, courteous and professional at all times, and the quality of the workmanship was very high.

A comprehensive design and build project
The fit out works included a M&E re-fit, new finishes, meeting and breakout areas, bespoke joinery, furniture and clever storage solutions.
M&E upgrades allowed us to improve energy performance of the office and to create a comfortable and healthy working environment for the staff. The private workspaces and meeting rooms were constructed from high-quality glazed partitions to make the most of the natural light and provide maximum acoustic comfort.
The final result is a beautiful showroom and a functional workspace that enhances productivity and collaboration.
