East London Science School
All Case StudiesProject Goals
DfE engaged us on a school refurbishment project aiming to provide accommodation for East London Science School for the start of the new academic year. Working alongside Turner&Townsend we transformed the existing space within this Victorian building in Bow, London into an inspiring learning facility. We refreshed the interiors and carried out all the necessary M&E and HVAC upgrades to create a healthy environment for the children.
Harry was attentive to any client queries and proactive with dealing with any issues on site. The project was very fast pace and stressful at times, however Harry kept all parties informed and delivered a high quality project on time.

Scope of Works
External works were a key part of the project and involved roof alterations with masonry and timber repairs, brick arch construction re-pointing, asphalt reworking and cladding replacement. Internal school refurbishment included structural and joinery works, HVAC upgrades, lighting and fire alarm system installations, toilets refurbishment, kitchenette fit out and redecorations. Smart programming allowed us to seamlessly deliver the project to a tight deadline and to budget, accommodating any scope changes.
