We collaborated with ESFA’a appointed Building Consultants, Arcadis, to deliver an internal rearrangement and refurbishment of the former College of North West London for Marylebone Boys School in Kilburn, London in three phases. This award-winning education building boasts a number of energy-saving features including exterior fins to minimise solar glare, a natural ventilation system and energy efficient lighting. It has been purchased by the ESFA to ensure the future provision of more primary school places in the area.
Added Value
Over three summers, our team have transformed the building into a school for both primary and secondary students. Our scope of works involved the installation of a commercial kitchen, creation of a school hall, complete re-modelling of the playground and perimeter fencing. Internally, the school provides a large amount of purpose-built classrooms arranged around an open landing with access to toilets and offices, a large reception area, spaces for back office functions and an open plan seating area.
